Changes to Michigan RACING LAW

The Horse Racing Act, No. 271, encourages the growth and sustainability of Michigan horse racing, by incentivizing horse breeding in Michigan and encouraging Michigan bred horses to come home to race! Special purses are now available at fairs for 2-year-old and 3-year-old Michigan bred or sired Standardbred harness horses leased or owned by a resident of Michigan.
